There are two ways to design on allthe. Customising a product to order it yourself needs no account; building a product to sell is done from the dashboard.
Customise and order a product (no account needed)
- Open /catalogue, pick a product and open its page.
- Choose a colour, then press "Customise & order". The flow has three steps: Sizes & qty → Design → Checkout.
- Sizes & qty: enter a quantity per size. Out-of-stock sizes are marked. The price here is the item plus your first decoration, shown ex VAT. Press "Continue to design".
- Design: "Select the print areas you want to decorate". Your first print area is included in the base price; extra areas show a per-unit price and sometimes a setup charge.
- Add your artwork from the tabs: Upload (your own file), Text, Library (your saved designs), Stock (licensed images), Clipart, Stickers, or Designs (ready-made).
- Drag, resize and rotate on the canvas. Text has fonts, colour, stroke, curve/arch, alignment and layers.
- Continue to checkout, or "Add to cart" and keep browsing.
Uploading artwork
Accepted files are PNG, JPEG, SVG or PDF up to 50 MB. On your first upload you accept the copyright terms with "I agree — continue upload". A warning appears if the artwork is below about 300 DPI at print size. Upscale it in the Design Library ("Upscale to print quality") or use a larger file. For the artwork rules see /policies/artwork-policy.
Build a product to sell (signed in)
- Go to /dashboard/catalogue, open a product and press "Add to my store".
- Steps: Mode → Details → Variants → Designs → Review.
- Mode: "Print on Demand" (every order ships the same artwork) or "Personalised" (the buyer fills in text, a photo or colours when ordering). You can only switch mode while the product has no orders.
- Details: name, description and tags. Variants: choose colours and sizes (it warns if a variant is out of stock).
- Designs: place your artwork per print area on the canvas; a low-DPI warning appears here too.
- Review: variant mock previews, your cost per unit, extra print areas, any setup charge, VAT, and "Your retail price (£)" with estimated profit and margin. Press "Save Product".
Saved products live at /dashboard/my-products as Active, Draft or Archived, from where you add them to a storefront or channel.
Rules the builder enforces
- Some print areas cannot be combined on one garment; the tile says "Not with current selection".
- Embroidery needs thread matching before you can continue.
- A product can be added to a storefront or channel only once it is saved.
