Choosing the blank
The blank matters more than the print. A 140gsm shirt and a 220gsm shirt take the same artwork and feel like different products, and the heavier one is usually why a customer orders again. The catalogue carries UK-warehoused blanks from Gildan, AWDis, Stanley/Stella, Bella + Canvas and others, across weights, fits and organic cotton options, with live stock on each product page.
DTG or DTF
Both print full colour and both suit a run of one, but they behave differently. DTG puts ink into the fibres, so the print feels like part of the shirt and sits best on cotton. DTF lays a transfer on top, which gives stronger colour on dark and synthetic fabrics and holds fine detail more reliably. On a white or light cotton tee, DTG usually looks and feels better. On a dark poly-blend, DTF usually wins. The customise canvas shows which methods a given shirt supports before you commit.
Artwork that prints sharp
A chest print is typically 38 by 45 cm at 300 DPI, which is about 4488 by 5315 pixels. Anything much below that prints soft, and an image pulled off a phone or a website will usually be below it. Vector files such as SVG and PDF sidestep the problem entirely because they scale without loss. The canvas warns you before checkout if a file would print soft, which is the cheapest moment to find out.
Personalised shirts
Because each shirt is made after it is ordered, the artwork can differ every time. Your buyer can add a name, a number, a date or their own photo at checkout and that shirt is made for them. It is the same production run either way, so personalisation is not a premium service bolted on the side, it is just what making things one at a time allows.
